We know- we can’t believe it either. How did it already get to be holiday time in Montana? Well it did, and we’re feeling pretty warm and fuzzy in here as we prep for a series of artful events. Mark your calendars and pop in for the cheer.
Friday, November 22nd from 5-8pm: We will be hosting a closing reception for the highly regarded show “Montana Nations: a Curated Show of Contemporary Works.” The show features compelling pieces in multiple mediums by ten Native artists who live in MT. The show was co-curated by Bozeman artists DG House and Ben Pease (both will be in attendance for the closing reception.)
Friday, November 29th from 5:30-8:30 pm (day after Thanksgiving): Opening reception for “The Clay Way.” This powerhouse ceramics show will feature work by past and present residents from the Archie Bray Foundation as well as the Red Lodge Clay Center. The high caliber work in this show will be both decorative and functional. Between the work in the front gallery and the items in our Back Room Store- there will be a plethora of unique gift-giving options at the Danforth this year!
Friday, December 6th from 4:00-8:00pm: The Livingston Holiday Stroll- pop into the Danforth Gallery to celebrate the holidays in Livingston. Support your hard working local businesses and non-profits as we showcase our wares! We will be offering some treats as well as debuting our holiday “Small Wall” in the Back Room Store. “The Small Wall” will feature small original art pieces by regional artists. All work will be offered at gift-giving price points!
Tuesday, December 24th: Last minute shopping hours. We will be open from 10am-4pm for the last day of “The Clay Way” as well as your last chance to scoop up beautifully designed housewares, jewelry and more from our Back Room Store.Sunshine Cobb
