The Danforth Board of Directors is an ambitious and lively bunch of locals who fulfill the mission of the Danforth by reaching out to our community, to sponsors, and to artists. We welcome individuals who have a passion for the arts, or are civic minded. Being on the Danforth Board is a labor of love and requires a decent time commitment. It is also great fun. There are three sub-committees comprised of Board members that meet occasionally and then report back to the Board at the monthly meetings. These committees include the Exhibition Committee, the Events Committee, and the Fundraising and Budget Committee.
The current Board consists of 10 members, four of whom are officers. Meetings are held monthly (current meeting day is the first Tuesday of each month). We ask that each board member commit to raising funds annually and attending the majority of meetings. We are particularly interested in board members with a background in business and non-profit fundraising.
