The Back Room Store is the Danforth Gallery’s gift shop, located at the back of the exhibit hall. Here visitors can purchase delightful and eclectic art and design objects by local artists, such as turned wood bowls, mobiles, handmade salvaged wood coat racks, and jewelry–all reasonably priced. Artwork and artists are in continual rotation, so there is always something new to discover.
When you visit The Back Room Store, be sure to note the historical mural high on the wall of the small room! Legend has it that a wandering vagrant painted it in the early 1940’s.
